Our PetroLedger Dallas Team spent a day last week volunteering with North Texas Food Bank, a local nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated and purchased foods through a network of more than 500 Partner Agencies in 13 counties.

A Brief History of North Texas Food Bank

Founded in 1982, the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) began collecting and distributing donations of surplus food and grocery products through a network of charitable organizations across North Texas. The NTFB saw success early on, distributed more than 400,000 pounds of food within its first year, and was pivotal to passing the Good Faith Donor Act in 1983, which protected donors from liability of donations or donated products. Today, NTFB has distributed 144 Million meals within the last year, and continues to aid the fight against food insecurity within the many counties it operates in.

We believe that our commitment to excellence extends beyond our office walls, and we are very grateful to have a team of compassionate professionals who embody this belief.
