Meet The Team: Steve Hernandez

At PetroLedger, we get to know our clients pretty well. We want you to know who we are, too. There’s a lot more personality than you might expect to find at a financial firm, and while professionalism is our first order of business, creating a fun work environment is always close behind!

Today we’d like to introduce Steve Hernandez, our new Vice President of Organizational Development. We sat down with him to ask a few questions so you can get to know him a little better - keep reading to check it out! 

If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?

I would love to become an expert at International travel. There is so much to see and so little time to see it all.

What can you tell us about your background?

I’ve always been in an HR role. Most of my experience is in Organizational Development and Talent Management. My undergrad and graduate degrees are in Human Resources Management. I’m certified in numerous personality assessments and leadership development programs, including DiSC, MBTI, TKI, Birkman, Hogan, and Lominger Voices 360.

What fictional world or place would you like to visit and why?  

The fictional place I would visit is the Emerald City. I’ve seen Wicked four times and really love the story and music.

What is your specific role with PetroLedger, including your day-to-day activities?

As the newly hired VP of Organizational Development, I am currently spending time learning about the operations, culture, and people throughout the entire organization.  Ultimately, my role is to help leaders build a culture that attracts, develops, and retains employees to grow the organization.

What’s your favorite way to get in some exercise?

Currently, my favorite way to exercise is by doing a boot camp 2-3 times a week.

Angella has 10+ years of experience in the world of marketing in industries from retail all the way to the U.S. military. She has her BA in Graphic Design and Media Arts. Here at PetroLedger, Angella manages all of our external marketing as well as our internal communications to keep all of the PL employees up to date on the latest happenings.
