ABOUT ASSOCIATED RESOURCES

At the beginning of February this year, we announced our acquisition with back-office accounting and land management firm, Associated Resources. With this new partnership underway and going strong, we are eager to deliver even more value for our clients with an expansive suite of new land administration services to choose from.

Established in Oklahoma City, OK in 1992, Associated Resources, Inc. provides customized, full-service back office support with land management, division order, and lease records services to clients active within every producing basin of the continental United States. Associated Resources– or “ARI,” for short– currently operates out of three locations in Oklahoma and Texas: Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Houston.

Here are a few notable members of the Associated Resources team who we would like to introduce:

Michael "Mike" Gibson

Vice President of Business Development & Land Administration

Mike has over 18 years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry, previously working as a Landman at Cinco Energy Management Group. During his time at Cinco, he worked in a multitude of states, counties, and basins throughout the US. Mike is a member of AAPL, HAPL, and PBLA. In 2015, he was recognized as one of Texas Best Landmen by Texas Top Producers and TIPRO. When he's not at work, Mike enjoys quality family time, college football (Go Sooners!), disc golf, and many other outdoor sports.

Nan Carlson

Land Administration Manager

Nan was first exposed to the Oil and Gas industry through her father, who was a Landman in his career. She went on to work with a large Producer in Denver before joining Associated Resources in 2004. At ARI, Nan manages staff and client work in the Lease Records and Division Order departments.

Grant Sparks

Account Manager

Grant has some deep family ties, with his grandfather being a geologist and an oilman. After earning his BA and MBA in Accounting, Grant began his career with IBM Business Consulting Services. After supporting several energy companies with IBM, he eventually joined Associated Resources in 2015. In his free time, Grant enjoys traveling and visiting National Parks.

ARI’S HISTORY WITH PETROLEDGER

Associated Resources and PetroLedger both have a long history within the Oil & Gas industry, with both companies' roots tracing back to the early 1990s. Previously, ARI had been a notable regional competitor to PetroLedger for many years, specializing in Oil & Gas accounting services, Division Orders, Lease Records, and Land Management.

When the opportunity to work with Associated Resources eventually arose, we quickly saw the potential of unifying the two companies. For PetroLedger, not only were we looking to expand our services for our clients, it was also pivotal for us to partner with someone who shared our vision to prioritize client satisfaction by actively cultivating our talent.
